RMF Printing Purchases Building

Fri, Jul 22nd 2011 02:00 pm

Lancaster, NY, July 22, 2011 - RMF Printing Technologies, the premier print services provider for Western New York and throughout the country, announced today that they have purchased the building at 50 Pearl Street in Lancaster, NY.

The building was originally built by Jefferson Smurfit, a corrugated box manufacturer founded in Dublin, Ireland, and was used for their operations until June 1995.  At that time, RMF Printing moved from its previous location on Broadway and Bailey Avenue in Buffalo, NY to their current location.  They had been leasing the building up until its purchase.

The building, which measures 147,000 square feet, serves as the production facility, warehouse and office for RMF Printing, Midwest Bank Note Company, its security division and Ogilvie Press, its large format print division.  RMF Printing specializes in commercial and forms printing, working with customers throughout the greater Buffalo and Western New York area. Midwest Bank Note Company specializes in security printing for items such as vital records and car titles for jurisdictions across the United States.  Ogilvie Press specializes in large format printed materials for architects and engineers.

"We are very excited about the close of this sale," said Kris Valenti, General Manager for RMF Printing Technologies.  "Purchasing the building that we have occupied for the last 16 years helps put RMF in a prime position for growth."
